Kalathos beach

Kalathos beach offers sand and tiny pebbles as far as the eye can see. This long and extensive beach is 4 kilometers long. Although not as famous as other beaches on the island, its tranquil and unassuming character seems to be particularly appreciated by its visitors. The waters in Kalathos are among the best in Rhodes, deep clear and sparkling clean. Usually the sea is calm, especially during the summer. The beach is popular among families with small children. In busier spots you will also find wooden sun beds and bamboo umbrellas.
